Activity Report

Do you provide your Sellers with an Activity Report? I find it to be a very good way of letting the Seller know what you are doing to sell their property. I send this to them about once a week. Since we have systems in place we pretty much just drop in what has been completed on what date. Here are some example entries:

03/13 Entered info on property in the MLS (Multiple Listing Service)
03/13 Sign ordered
03/13 Showcase home ad ordered / Ad comes out 3/23
03/14 Placed property on Hold status in MLS
03/15 Large panel sign installed
03/17 Call from ERA New Star
Comments: Wanted to show property
03/17 Sign call
Comments: Wanted price
03/25 Placed property in Active status in MLS
03/25 Put 15 feature flyers in flyer box
03/25 Installed light on sign panel for night time exposure
03/26 Installed Lock Box
03/26 Ordered 300 “Just Listed” postcards sent to surrounding area
03/27 Emailed a copy of full MLS printout and customer copy for your review
03/27 Repaired sprinklers in front
03/27 Featured on heidisellshomes.com
03/27 Posted on: Google Base, Trulia, Oodle, Backpage, local.com, Lycos, Popsmart, Edgio, Vast, Craig’s list
03/27 Created virtual tour—Placed on MLS, Websites
03/27 Fixed front sprinkler
03/28 Posted to ActiveRain.com for exposure to other Real Estate agents
03/29 Placed colored flyers in all agent boxes at Remax Partners
03/29 Promoted property at Real Estate Board Meeting – and passed out colored flyers

There are things in the system that get inserted and of course any showing or calls on the property are recorded in the report. Selers love this report!
